A professional opera singer who made the crossover into film and theatre, Mary brings deep and intense resources to making a writer's work come alive, and is dedicated to changing hearts through her work.
Mary is playing Barb in Salem Theatre Company's production of Adam Bock's Swimming in the Shallows opening on March 8, 2012 running through March 31. Mary's film Speed Dating is an official selection of five festivals: San Diego FilmOut Film Festival, American International Film Festival, Fifteen Minutes of Fame Film Festival, Angaelica Columbia Gorge Film Festival, and the Brooklyn Girl Film Festival. In addition, it won Best Director in the Experimental genre of the AIFF. Most recently, BGFF has selected Speed Dating to compete in its "Best Short" Competition, with a screening in late March 2012. The film has also been named an official selection of the Litchfield Hills Film Festival that will be held June 28 thru July 1st. Email info@speeddating.com to request updates. Express Lane was a hit at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Mary played a college professor who is recognized in a grocery store by a former student she accused of plagiarism ten years ago The film was part of "B.C. I Love You," a film competition sponsored by Boston College. Wendy's Game in which Mary plays the role of Diane, the sympathetic mother of a troubled teen, will be screened at Harvard University in late April. Chanal Productions film The Commitment in which Mary plays an adoption counselor will soon be out of post and making the rounds on the festival circuit. |
